I have really enjoyed the running sessions with Jenni.  She gives really helpful, practical advice on how to improve your technique as well as pushing you to run faster and harder than you think you are able.  Each session is different - we have done interval training, hill sessions, endurance running and track sessions.  Jenni has developed a detailed training plan which I am currently working on in the hope of smashing my 10k time in a race in July.  It is great to be doing this as part of group as we encourage each other to keep going and work harder than I ever would on my own.

As a 70 year old male, I feel the need to keep myself in shape. I do a lot of walking, but I don’t like the gym. My wife is very supple and trim, and she has really enjoyed taking part in Jenni’s online workouts for Seniors.

So, I decided to give it a go. I particularly like the idea of doing the exercises in my own house, at the start of the day, which means that I feel refreshed and ready for the day ahead. The exercises are varied and enjoyable, and allow for a really good workout. Jenni demonstrates all the exercises very clearly, and her routines are easy to follow. The link to the workout she sends at the end is a real bonus, as I am able to repeat the routines two or three times a week.

All in all, working with Jenni is fun, and it is certainly a cost effective way of keeping reasonably fit. I recommend it to anyone over 50 who wants to stay fit and delay the onset of old age!

I signed up with Jenni when training for my fourth marathon and it’s fair to say she totally transformed my running.  She helped me set targets way beyond what I ever thought I could achieve, and then gave me the confidence and support to hit them.  The end result was 14 minutes off my half marathon PB and 45 minutes off my full marathon PB.  I can’t wait to start training with Jenni for my next marathon!

I always look forward to Jenni’s classes and finish them with a sense of achievement, often having done more than I thought I could do. Jenni is very encouraging and gives us individual attention. I like being given a weekly plan at the start of the course, and each class having a clear structure. As we are either on the track or on a hill doing interval sprints, the classes work for runners of differing speeds. Jenni helps us with running form and yoga stretches for runners, as well as recommending cross-training. A 9am start suits me as it doesn’t eat into too much of the morning.  I find the classes tough and enjoyable. It’s a sociable group, sometimes going for a coffee afterwards or meeting at a parkrun or at an organised run. Since starting Jenni’s classes a year ago I have increased my running distance

I started training with Jenni 3 months prior to the London marathon 2018.  Thanks to her training I managed to complete 26.2 miles without stopping to walk. I was so pleased and this then galvanised me to continue running for fun..I highly recommend training with Jenni to anyone who wants to improve technique or a total beginner like myself. I worked with Jenni over six months in the build-up to my first marathon. After an initial consultation, she put together a comprehensive plan that was manageable, motivating and easy to follow. Our one-to-one sessions were always challenging, and I saw incremental improvements every week. She was also available for advice and encouragement on the phone. Ultimately, thanks to her plan and coaching I was able to run the marathon under my target time of 3hr 30min and also set a personal best of 1h 34min in a half marathon. I cannot recommend Jenni as a running coach highly enough.

Starting my week with my hour long one on one online session with Jenni has been an absolute joy. When I first met Jenni in the summer of 2019 my teenage dyspraxic son and I wanted to improve our balance and movement through yoga and were complete beginners. Jenni’s friendliness and support worked brilliantly on my son who moved far better than he had for a long time! Once he returned to school I wanted to continue my sessions with Jenni and the transition to online sessions last year was seamless. Her sessons are a clever mixture of ongoing and new Yoga movements so you can see the improvements in your technique. Will and I have thoroughly enjoyed our PT sessions with Jenni over the past year. As hard working, stressed and tired parents of young children we wanted to get back into shape and to boost energy and wellbeing levels generally. I already knew Jenni as a yoga teacher and thought joint PT sessions with my husband would be a good idea for us to get going again and do something active together that didn’t involve the children. We therefore signed up to weekly strength and cardio sessions in the park (initially in person and then online sessions over Zoom in line with Covid restrictions). What we didn’t expect was for the sessions to be quite as much fun! Jenni brings so much variety, enthusiasm and motivation that it is impossible not to get motivated. The sessions (coupled with yoga and running) have meant that we feel stronger and fitter again and less achy and tired when sitting at our desks or carrying our children around; we also feel less stressed and sleep better. We can warmly recommend Jenni to anyone looking to improve their fitness and wellbeing, regardless of level they are starting from.

I have been training with Jenni since having my first child. I felt reassured by her extensive knowledge of the postnatal mum and what I should do to recover and regain fitness safely.
I love the way her classes are always varied and also appropriately levelled so you can select the best exercises for your body and fitness stage. She is also totally supportive and non judgmental which helps after not exercising for nine months and many sleepless nights!
I would recommend her classes to anyone looking to improve their fitness and really enjoy it at the same time. I like it so much I am still training with her a year after my second baby and still loving every minute (except the burpees)!

“I was attending Jenni’s run and yoga classes at my local studio and got to know and like her style of teaching and session structure. Later on I started to attend her power flow and yin yoga classes as well and really enjoyed how calmly conducted they were, always making sure everyone knows what they are supposed to do despite their level of experience.
